Tottenham Hotspur new boy Georges-Kevin N'Koudou has expressed his delight after helping his side register a 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow on his Champions League debut on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old winger, who joined Spurs from Marseille on a five-year deal towards the end of the summer transfer window, came on as substitute in place of fellow new signing Vincent Janssen in the 67th minute, with the score level at 0-0.

Heung-Min Son then scored the only goal of the game four minutes later as Spurs registered their first win in this season’s Champions League, thereby successfully bouncing back from their 2-1 loss to Monaco in the opening game.

And N’Koudou, who was elated as his Champions League debut coincided with Spurs’ win, highlighted the importance of his side returning from Russia with the full three points.

“First minutes in Champions League, very happy to help the team tonight again and to earn 3 tough points in Moscow! Job done!!” he tweeted.
