Tottenham Hotspur star Heung-Min Son has revealed that he is relishing the prospect of facing his former employers Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League next month.

The South Korea international, whose goal helped Tottenham to beat CSKA Moscow 1-0 and register their first win the Champions League this season on Tuesday, joined the north London club from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015.

Son has been in great form this season, finding the back of the net five times in as many appearances in all competitions.

And with Spurs set to travel to Germany for their Champions League meeting with Bayer Leverkusen on 18th October, the 24-year-old insisted that he is excited to play against his former club.

“It will be a difficult away game”, Son told Spurs TV, when asked about the Bayer Leverkusen game.
