Leeds United loanee Billy Whitehouse has revealed his admiration for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.

The United States international, who was linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer, made an impact despite coming on as a late substitute in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Pulisic was introduced in the 77th minute by Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel at Signal-Iduna-Park, with the hosts trailing 2-1.

The 18-year-old winger immediately made his mark in the game and provided the assist for Andre Schurrle’s equaliser ten minutes later which helped BVB to claim a point against the reigning champions.

And Whitehouse, who joined Leeds from Doncaster Rovers in the summer before being loaned out to Guiseley on a loan deal until January, feels Pulisic is a “class” player.

“Pulisic for Dortmund is class”, he wrote on Twitter during the course of the Champions League clash.

Whitehouse, who is a product of Doncaster Rovers’ youth system, has thus far made one appearance for Guiseley.

He was hailed by Leeds Under-23 boss earlier this season for his professional displays.
