Scott Sinclair feels that the atmosphere the Celtic fans created against Manchester City in tonight's 3-3 Champions League draw pushed the Bhoys on, dubbing it "unbelievable".

Celtic made a blistering start to the game at Paradise, with Moussa Dembele firing the hosts ahead in the third minute. The goal came as Sinclair put a ball in from a free kick which was met by Erik Sviatchenko and went in off Dembele.

Manchester City fought back quiickly and in the eleventh minute it was 1-1 as Fernandinho broke free of the Celtic defence following a scuffed shot from team-mate Aleksandar Kolarov and made no mistake with his left-footed effort.

The game was being played at a breathless pace and in the 20th minute Celtic were ahead again, this time having a Raheem Sterling own goal to thank. Kieran Tierney hit the ball and his effort deflected off Sterling's boot and past Claudio Bravo in the Manchester City goal.

Sterling quickly made amends though and eight minutes later made it 2-2. The winger was fed by Citizens skipper David Silva and converted well.

Another goal came quickly after the half time break with Dembele giving Celtic the lead by making it 3-2 in the 47th minute, hooking a superb shot over his shoulder.

It was 3-3 though in the 55th minute, a Sergio Aguero shot being pushed into Nolito's path and the Spaniard made no mistake.

3-3 was how it ended and Sinclair was delighted with the backing Celtic got from the fans, which he is sure helped.

"The fans were right behind us and the atmosphere was unbelievable", Sinclair said on BT Sport after the match.

"That's what spurred us on. We kept going, going forward and creating chances.

"We keep improving. We learned from the Barcelona defeat.

"We took the negatives out of it and performed tonight", the winger added.
