AC Milan are considering making a move for Arsenal linked defender Matthias Ginter during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old defender has been impressing observers since joining Borussia Dortmund in 2014, and has attracted the attention of clubs across Europe.

Arsenal have been keen on the German, but Dortmund made it clear in the summer that they have no intention of seeing the talented young defender leave the club.

The Bundesliga outfit have already refused an offer from Paris Saint-German for Ginter, who is also being tracked by Real Madrid, but it seems Serie A giants AC Milan have joined his list of suitors.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, AC Milan have identified the player as a potential signing, and it has been suggested that they are plotting a move in January.
