Chelsea winger Victor Moses admits that he enjoyed putting in a shift in his side’s comfortable 2-0 win over Hull City at the KC Stadium.

Hull started the game on the front foot and Robert Snodgrass forced Thibaut Courtois’ into making a terrific save within the first five minutes when his free-kick took a wicked deflection, but Chelsea started to impose themselves by maintaining healthy possessions.

However, the Tigers remained organised and Chelsea struggled to break down the home side’s defence throughout the first half, despite creating a few problems, including a strong penalty appeal from winger Victor Moses in the 27th minute.

Eden Hazard forced David Marshall to make his first save of the day just after play resumed in the second half when his stinging shot from 20 yards was kept away from the goal by the Hull custodian.

Chelsea began to exert more pressure as the second half grew and Diego Costa came close to breaking the deadlock on the hour mark and as the ball bounced off the post N’Golo Kane blazed it over the bar to miss a golden opportunity.

However, the breakthrough finally came for Chelsea when a minute later as Willian curled an 18-yarder past a wrong footed David Marshall after Costa physically dominated Curtis Davies to create the opportunity.

And Costa doubled the lead just six minutes later when his first time finished was almost a carbon copy of Willian’s goal as it curled past the Hull goalkeeper into the net.

Chelsea started to dominate the game, and Hull defence looked harried as the visitors created more openings, and threatened to score more.

Pedro Rodriguez and Oscar missed opportunities to be on the scoresheet and Chelsea managed to register a comfortable win at the KC Stadium.

Moses made his first start in the Premier League season and his energy was useful as Chelsea played three across the back for the first time this term under Antonio Conte.

And the winger admits that he enjoyed running up and down after getting a rare opportunity from the start.

Moses was quoted as saying by the BBC: “There is a lot to do, but I have to graft in, go up and down and I kind of enjoy it, getting a lot of one-on-one situations.”

Gary Cahill also added that it will take some time to get used to playing as a part of a three-man defence, but he feels Hull did little to threaten the Chelsea rearguard as the match grew.

The defender said: “It took some getting used to, you don't get used to it overnight.

“But in the second half we weren't really threatened. We go into the international break with three points and a good feeling."
