Arsenal and Watford are amongst a clutch of teams actively scouting promising Toulouse goalkeeper Alban Lafont.

The custodian is just 17 years old, but has been tipped for big things and is clocking up regular first team football in Ligue 1 with Toulouse this term, having already turned out in eight French top flight matches.

His progress has not gone unnoticed and a whole host of sides have been sending scouts to check on Lafont ahead of a potential bid.

Indeed, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Arsenal, Watford, Juventus and FC Porto have all recently sent talent spotters to take in Lafont's performances.

The goalkeeper is under contract with Toulouse until the summer of 2020, however the French side believe his progress merits a salary increase and are currently in discussions over a new contract.
