Galatasaray are pulling out all the stops to convince Memphis Depay to move to the Turk Telekom Arena in the winter transfer window.

Depay was snapped up by former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal in the 2015 summer transfer window, with the Red Devils beating off competition from Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the Dutchman has flopped at Old Trafford and is now increasingly being linked with leaving the club when the transfer window swings back open.

According to Turkish outlet Kanal A Haber, Galatasaray are hoping to use their Dutch connections to persuade Depay to head for Istanbul.

The Turkish giants have Dutchmen Wesley Sneijder and Nigel de Jong on their books, while they also have a Dutch coach in the shape of Jan Olde Ridkerink.

Depay is thought to be Galatasaray's primary target for the winter transfer window, however they could face substantial opposition for his signature.

AC Milan, Sevilla and Wolfsburg have also been linked with the Manchester United winger.

Depay, 22, has scored only seven goals in 50 games at Manchester United.
