Galatasaray winger Bruma claims that talk of interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur is news to him, pointing out that if the pair wanted him then it was common knowledge he would have been available before the start of the season.

Just 21 years old, Bruma has been linked with a number of clubs over the last year, including Manchester United.

Despite speculation over a potential move from Turkey, Bruma stayed at Galatasaray and now says he is focused on helping the Turk Telekom Arena outfit win the Super Lig title.

And the Portugal Under-21 international is in the dark on Arsenal and Spurs wanting him.

"That's news to me", Bruma told Portuguese sports daily O Jogo, when asked about Arsenal and Tottenham being keen.

"It's all clear to me. It was also said that Manchester United would be interested. Everyone knew that I was available before the new season.

"I'm not leaving. I am happy here and I am really motivated to have a great season.

"I want to be a champion, also for the fans. For me at the moment that counts."

But beyond the end of the season, Bruma is not willing to speculate on where he might be playing his football.

"The future, we'll see later."

Galatasaray beat off competition for Bruma's signature in 2013, snapping the winger up from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon for a fee of €10m.

He won the Super Liga title with Galatasaray in the 2014/15 campaign, while picking up the Turkish Cup in the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons.
