Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has revealed that he supported Real Madrid as a boy.

The French hitman joined Celtic from Championship side Fulham in the summer transfer window after his contract at Craven Cottage expired.

Signing for Celtic means Champions League football and Dembele could well have the chance to play against his boyhood club at some point this season, with the striker revealing they are Real Madrid.

Asked in a Twitter Q&A which team he supported as a boy, Dembele answered: "Growing up I supported Real Madrid."

The 20-year-old has already had the chance to lock horns with Real Madrid's fierce rivals Barcelona, with Celtic being drawn in the same group as the Catalan giants in the Champions League.
