Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy is feeling confident about the Blues' chances against Manchester United next weekend, as he does not rate the Red Devils as a great side and is sure that keeping a clean sheet is the key to victory.

Chelsea saw off Premier League champions Leicester City 3-0 on Saturday to further boost confidence at the club, making it back to back wins for Antonio Conte's men.

Conte also played three at the back, his preferred formation, and Chelsea appear to be adapting to the Italian's ways, just in time for a visit from Manchester United next weekend.

And Cundy does not think there is anything to fear from the Red Devils. He also claims that if Chelsea keep a clean sheet they will most surely win, as he is confident they will breach the Manchester United backline.

"This is not a great Manchester United side", Cundy explained on Chelsea TV, when assessing the win over Leicester.

"It has quality in it, real quality, but I don't think it's a great Manchester United side.

"If we keep another clean sheet we will win the game.

"We will score, but we've got to keep a clean sheet", the former Chelsea defender added.

Manchester United will play twice before they take on Chelsea, with a clash against Liverpool at Anfield this evening, followed by a Europa League fixture at home against Fenerbahce.

Chelsea meanwhile have a week to prepare for the game against the Red Devils.
