Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son is looking forward to the opportunity to play against his old friends and team-mates at Bayer Leverkusen tonight.

Son spent two seasons at Leverkusen before joining Tottenham last year and is set to come up against his old-team mates when the north Londoners take the pitch at the BayArena this evening.

A crucial Champions League group game, Tottenham are looking to return with three points from Germany, but Son has different reasons to feel excited about playing against Leverkusen.

He admits that it is a special game for him as he prepares to face his old team and is feeling excited to again meet his old friends and accomplices in the Leverkusen squad tonight.

The South Korean told Spurs TV: “This is a special game for me as they are my ex-team.
