Arsene Wenger wants his Arsenal side to keep their feet on the ground after they simply blew away Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad to win 6-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the Champions League.

It took just 12 minutes for Arsenal to take the lead on home turf as Alexis Sanchez surged into the penalty area from the left hand side, beating a defender and then guiding a lobbed shot over the goalkeeper and into the corner of the net.

Ludogorets looked to get back into the game and did hit the post with an effort from Brazilian Wanderson, whose low shot hit the woodwork and went wide.

The Gunners heeded the warning and made it 2-0 in the 42nd minute, with Theo Walcott scoring. The forward got on the end of a cut-back from Mesut Ozil and hit a shot which swerved into the goal.

It was 3-0 just a minute after the kick off in the second half, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain finishing with a side-footed finish after good work from Kieran Gibbs.

Ludogorets were reeling and matters got worse for the visitors in the 56th minute when Ozil got on the end of a through ball from Santi Cazorla and slotted into the back of the net.

Ozil scored again in the 83rd minute, getting on the end of a cross from Lucas Perez, while he capped off the night by securing his hat-trick three minutes from time with a neat volley to make it 6-0.

Wenger was delighted with the win, but has urged his charges not to get carried away.

"Our confidence is stronger with every win, but we have to keep the vigilance as well, and the urgency to bring that into the next game", he told BT Sport.

"Let's not be too quick on the verdict.

"We have a strong squad and a strong spirit, but you have to take care of it and keep your feet on the ground.

"The only way to win something big is to focus on the next one and work with humility", Wenger added.
