Leeds United midfielder Eunan O’Kane feels that he is yet to reach his peak performance levels at Elland Road, but is confident of getting better in the coming weeks and months.

The Yorkshire giants snapped up the midfielder from Bournemouth in the summer and O’Kane played a vital role in Leeds putting together a run of positive results last month.

The 26-year-old has already been lauded by many for his effect on Leeds’ midfield and performances this season, but the midfielder himself feels he is yet to perform at his best for the Whites.

While he has been happy with the performances of the team since his arrival, O’Kane feels he can do better personally and is confident of putting in better performances as he plays more games for Leeds in the coming weeks and months.

The midfielder told TV Yorkshire, when asked how he feels about his performances thus far: “It has been okay.

“I came into the team in a run of form. I think we won five out of six games and as a group it has been good, we have played well.

“On personal terms, I feel I am not quite myself yet and it has been a long time since I have played as many games as I have played recently; the more that I play the better I will get and hopefully the better I will become.”

An Ireland international, O’Kane has eight appearances for Leeds in all competitions this season to his name and is expected to feature against Wolves on Saturday at Molineux.
