Former Manchester City full-back Danny Mills has taken issue with Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech thinking the Gunners have a challenging run of fixtures because they are on a run of four on the bounce at the Emirates Stadium.

Cech was the star man for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon as the Gunners drew 0-0 against newly promoted Middlesbrough.

The game was the third of four Arsenal have in a row at home, the Gunners having already faced Swansea City and Ludogorets Razgrad, in addition to Middlesbrough.

And Mills thinks Cech cannot moan about the Gunners playing four in a row at home, as it is still better than playing four in a row away from home.

"That is a game that Arsenal would expect to win", Mills said on the BBC's Final Score programme.

"Petr Cech saying four games at home is difficult. Well, it's not as difficult as four games away is it?

"I think they know it's two points dropped", he added.

Next up for Arsenal is a visit to the Emirates Stadium from Championship side Reading, who will lock horns with the Gunners in an EFL Cup tie.

Then Arsene Wenger's men play Sunderland and Ludogorets Razgrad away from home, before welcoming fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur to the Emirates Stadium on 6th November.
