Aitor Karanka feels that it was a sign that his Middlesbrough side were good value for money in their 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium when Arsenal’s best player was their veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech.

While Arsenal dominated possession, Boro created the better chances and Cech was in action throughout the 90 minutes to earn the point for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Both Adama Traore and Alvaro Negredo could have scored for Boro if not for the veteran goalkeeper, who made some crucial saves to give Arsenal an opportunity to make something happen at the other end.

Victor Valdes also made some fine saves at the other end, but Middlesbrough created the more clear cut chances and could have won all three points if not for Cech’s brilliant goalkeeping.

And Karanka feels that Cech being Arsenal’s best player was the indicator of his side’s performance.
