Fixture: Manchester City vs Southampton
Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 13:30 (UK time)

Manchester City have officially confirmed their starting eleven and substitutes to play host to Southampton in a Premier League fixture this afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens go into the game on the back of a 4-0 defeat at Barcelona in the Champions League and with other sides now pushing them hard in the Premier League; Pep Guardiola's men sit third in the Premier League table, one point behind joint leaders Arsenal and Liverpool.

Guardiola will be keen for his men to bounce back to the top of the table against the Saints and just a point against Southampton would do the trick, putting Manchester City top on goal difference. Looking to get the job done against the Saints, Guardiola goes with Sergio Aguero up top, with support from Kevin De Bruyne just behind. Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane operate on the flanks, with David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan in the middle of the park.

Fernandinho sits in front of a back three, which consists of Vincent Kompany, John Stones and Aleksandar Kolarov. On the bench, Guardiola can call for Nolito and Jesus Navas as attacking options if needed. Nicolas Otamendi is also amongst the substitutes.
