Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is thinking about unleashing Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from the start in his side’s EFL Cup clash against Liverpool tonight.

The winger, who joined Spurs from Marseille on a five-year deal in the summer, is yet to start a game for his new employers.

N’Koudou has thus far clocked up 58 minutes over four appearances in all competitions for the north London club.

And Pochettino, whose side thrashed League One outfit Gillingham in the previous round of the EFL Cup in late September, insisted that the 21-year-old could start against Liverpool at Anfield.

“Maybe, yes. I’m thinking about giving him the opportunity from the start. Maybe”, Pochettino said in his pre-match press conference on Monday, when asked if N'Koudou could make his first start against Liverpool.
