Leeds United midfielder Eunan O’Kane has identified team-mate Kemar Roofe as the best trainer in the Whites squad.

Roofe, who was League Two’s top goalscorer last season, joined Leeds from Oxford United in the summer and after a slow start to his season, the forward has been slowly getting into his groove in recent weeks.

The forward has earned praise for some of his recent performances and O’Kane claimed that his fellow summer signing is also the toughest trainer in the Leeds squad at the moment.

When asked who the best trainer in the Leeds squad is, O’Kane told LUTV: “I haven’t trained that much because we have played so many games.

“I am going to say Roofy.”

The midfielder himself has become a vital cog in Garry Monk’s team since joining the club in the summer from Bournemouth and has played a big role in their resurgence after a slow start to their season.

O’Kane and Roofe are both expected to be in the matchday squad when Leeds take on Burton Albion at Elland Road this Saturday.
