Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum insists that it doesn't matter who the Reds face in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup because in order to lay their hands on the trophy they simply have to beat everyone.

The Reds, who came away 2-1 winners against Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the tournament, have been drawn to face Championship side Leeds United in the last eight on 29th November.

According to the former Newcastle United man, it doesn't simply matter who they have been drawn against because at the end of the night, he and his team know that they have to come away with a positive result.

“It doesn’t matter because if you want to win the cup, you have to beat everyone", Wijnaldum told his club's official website.

The Dutchman also took time to speak about the difficult nature of the games in England, both in the Premier League as well as in the cup, and stated that his team will have to face a similar kind of challenge when they take on the Whites at the end of November.
