Liverpool are looking at launching a raid on Barcelona for winger Arda Turan, according to Spanish magazine Don Balon.

The Reds have seen the Catalan giants continually linked with wanting to take Philippe Coutinho to the Camp Nou and are now set to look to snare away one of Barcelona's stars as they seek to go on the offensive.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has zeroed in on wide-man Turan and it has been claimed Liverpool will look to strike a deal with Barcelona in the winter transfer window.

Turan has made 12 appearances for the Blaugrana so far this season, scoring five goals, and it remains to be seen if Barcelona will be willing to discuss a sale with Liverpool.

Liverpool are also looking to ensure that Barcelona cannot lay their hands on Coutinho.
