Highly rated Genk midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who has been linked with a clutch of English clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, says he does not know whether he will be on the move in the January transfer window.

The Nigeria's accomplished performances at just 19 years old have seen him linked with a number of sides and Genk may be facing a battle when it comes to keeping hold of him for the entire season.

Ndidi has been linked with Spurs and Newcastle, while Premier League champions Leicester City are also mooted to be keen. Chelsea too have been credited with monitoring the Nigeria international's progress in Belgium.

Bids could come flowing in when the transfer window swings back open and Ndidi admits he cannot say whether he will still be a Genk player throughout January.

"I do not know", Ndidi was quoted as saying by Het Belang Van Limburg, when asked if he is staying at Genk throughout January.

Genk are sure to be reluctant to lose Ndidi as they try to rescue what has been a disappointing campaign for the club so far.

The side sit just seventh in the Belgian Pro League, following 15 games, which is just outside the Championship Group.

There is better news in Europe though as Genk currently top their Europa League group with six points from four games.
