Chelsea could look to rekindle their interest in Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan during the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old midfielder was courted by Chelsea during the summer, but despite the temptation of moving to England, the Belgian decided to say put at Roma.

However, Nainggolan is growing impatient with Roma as their promise of an improved contract is yet to reach his table and it has been suggested that he could consider a January move should the Serie A giants continue to stall over the new deal.

It has been suggested that Chelsea still hold an interest in the Belgian international and according to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad, the Blues could look to slap in a bid for the player in January.

However, Chelsea’s bid for Nainggolan is expected to largely depend on their ability to shift out other midfielders in their squad as they are mindful of Financial Fair Play regulations.
