Chelsea legend Pat Nevin believes the Blues can take advantage of a Manchester City defence he feels is weak, when they travel to the Etihad Stadium next weekend.

Antonio Conte's men continued their stunning form on Saturday by beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 to make it seven wins in the Premier League on the spin, staying top of the table and a point clear of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Next weekend is another key test for the Blues however, with Manchester City providing the opposition at the Etihad Stadium.

Nevin though is confident if Chelsea can get at Manchester City then they can have success, as he believes the Citizens' backline is their weakest link.

"Manchester City are not strong in defence", Nevin explained on Chelsea TV.

"I'm a big fan of John Stones, but he has got a weakness, which is weakness, he's not as strong as Diego Costa.

"And [Nicolas] Otamendi is not the greatest, let's be absolutely fair about it", he added.

Manchester City have conceded five goals in their last six Premier League games, while Chelsea have let in just one over the same period.

The Citizens though have only conceded 12 goals in their 13 league games, to Chelsea's ten, and have one of the tightest defences in the division.
