Juventus have started preparations for a summer move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and are closely following the Belgian’s performances, according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport.

The Everton forward has been on Juventus’ radar for months and even Toffees boss Ronald Koeman recently admitted that the Belgian could have to move to a bigger club in the future.

A January move for Lukaku has been ruled out by the Italian champions, but the club hierarchy have earmarked him for a big move at the end of the season.

However, with the complications involved in pulling off such a deal, Juventus have already started preparing groundwork for their approach in the summer and have been keeping a close watch on the striker’s performances by sending scouts to track him.

Scouts from the club have been in England in recent days to keep track of the Everton man’s performances and to probe the conditions of a possible transfer for Lukaku in the summer.

And with Mino Raiola being the striker’s agent, Juventus are hoping that their long association with the Italian will help them to take Lukaku to the Juventus Stadium next season.

Lukaku has scored seven goals in 13 appearances for Everton this season and has a contract until 2019 with the club.

He has also earned 56 caps for Belgian and has 22 international goals to his name.
