FC Twente defender Jeroen van der Lely has revealed his love for Premier League giants Arsenal and his desire to play for the north Londoners.

A product of the FC Twente academy, the 20-year-old full-back has come through the ranks to become an important member of their senior team in recent seasons.

He has made eight Eredivisie appearances this term and is hoping to become a regular in the FC Twente first eleven over the course of the next few months, but his ambition is to move to England eventually.

Van der Lely admits that playing in the Premier League has always been an attractive option for him and he made it clear which team he wants to feature for when he revealed his love for Arsenal.

The defender added that the Gunners have been his favourite team since he was a kid and he likes the way they play their football, which is different from the traditional English game.
