Arsenal have made contact over the possibility of signing young Crotone goalkeeper Aniello Viscovo, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

The 17-year-old, who is a product of Crotone’s youth system, is yet to make his competitive senior debut for the Serie A outfit.

Viscovo’s present contract with Crotone is set to expire in the summer, and the Pitagorici are yet to open talks with the youngster regarding a new deal.

And Arsenal, who are on the lookout for a young goalkeeper, are prepared to take advantage of the situation by swooping in for the teenager.

Viscovo has thus far played nine youth games for Crotone in the present campaign, and his impressive performances in those games have not gone unnoticed by the Gunners.
