Wojciech Szczesny is in no mood to discuss what might happen in the summer when he is due to return to Arsenal from his loan spell at Roma.

The Poland international is in the thick of a second successive season-long loan with Roma from the Gunners, with Szczesny established as the captial club's number 1.

With Petr Cech and David Ospina at the Emirates Stadium, Szczesny's long-term future at Arsenal is unclear.

But the goalkeeper does not want to spend time thinking about what might happen next summer and insists he is fully focused on the task at hand with Roma, which includes a Rome derby against Lazio this Sunday.

"I do not think about so far in the future", he was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato when asked if he will be returning to Arsenal in the summer.

"If I think about July 2017 then I cannot concentrate on what I do now.

"So, I prefer to live in the present", Szczesny added.

Roma currently sit in second spot in Serie A following 14 games, four points off league leaders Juventus.

The Giallorossi meanwhile top their Europa League group, having collected eleven points from five games.
