Liverpool have been keeping a close watch on young Valencia striker Fran Navarro as they look to weigh up a move for the 18-year-old forward, something which would put them on a collision course with Real Madrid.

A product of the Valencia academy, the young striker has been earning rave reviews for his performances on the youth circuit in Spain and has come on to the radar of a few top European clubs.




According to Valencia based daily Super Deporte, Premier League giants Liverpool have been closely following his performances and they took note of his showings for Spain’s youth team in a recently concluded UEFA tournament.

He has also represented Valencia in the UEFA Youth League this season and has been a regular member of Valencia’s B team in the third tier of Spanish football this term.
 


However, Liverpool are not the only ones following Navarro’s exploits as it has been claimed that even Real Madrid have been keeping a close watch on the youngster.

And the Spanish giants have been receiving regular information about the development of the player in Valencia’s academy.

Real Madrid could soon to make their own move for Navarro, battling Liverpool in the process.

Navarro’s current contract with Valencia runs until 2019 and the club remain keen to hold on to him for the long term.
