Juventus are keeping tabs on Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, according to Italian sports daily Tuttosport.
The 20-year-old, who has also been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the winter transfer window, is contracted with the German team until 2018.
The Reds also tried to lure Dahoud to Anfield in the summer, but the youngster stayed put at Monchengladbach as the German club were reluctant to sell.
The Germany Under-21 international is however yet to sign a fresh contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri watched Dahoud at close quarters during his side’s Champions League clashes against Monchengladbach last season.
It has been claimed that the Turin giants have been tracking Dahoud’s progress in Germany since and they have been impressed with the player’s abilities.
The starlet, who is also on the radar of Borussia Dortmund, has thus far made 13 appearances in all competitions in the present campaign, scoring once and setting up two goals.
