Reading winger Roy Beerens admits that it will be special experience for his side to play against Manchester United in the FA Cup next month.

The Championship outfit were drawn out of the hat to face Manchester United at Old Trafford next month in the third round of the competition.

And Beerens admits that Reading are looking forward to their trip to Old Trafford as he believes that playing against a big club such as Manchester United is always a special occasion for the players and the supporters.

The Dutch striker also feels it is a good opportunity for a club such as Reading, who are gunning to return to the top tier of English football, to test their strength against Premier League powerhouses such as Jose Mourinho’s side.

Beerens told FOX Sports: “Of course you are always hoping to get such a big club and it is going to be special for the coach [Jaap Stam to go back to Old Trafford].
