Moussa Dembele has insisted that Celtic will come back stronger in the Champions League, following their 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Bhoys, who qualified for the group stage of the Champions League for the first time in three years, failed to win any of their six Group C games.

Celtic lost three and drew as many games to finish in fourth spot in their group, thereby bowing out of the Champions League.

However, Dembele, who joined the Scottish champions from Fulham in the summer, stated that his side will return stronger in the Champions League in the coming seasons.

The Frenchman went on to add that he relished his first experience of playing in the continental competition.
