Leeds United boss Garry Monk has revealed that Liam Bridcutt has been in training since the start of the week, while explaining he has no new injury worries, ahead of his side’s Championship clash against Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday.

The 27-year-old has been out of action since fracturing his foot during the Whites’ 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in mid-September.

While Bridcutt is not available, Monk has been able to report that he has no new injury worries, with his squad having come through their weekend win over Aston Villa without any issues.

Monk explained to LUTV: "We are as we were in terms of injures ahead of the Aston Villa game."

The Whites boss noted that Bridcutt is back on the grass, in what is a boost for Leeds ahead of a busy Christmas schedule of games.
