Leeds United assistant boss Pep Clotet has warned Friday night's opponents Brighton that his side will have fanatical backing from their fans at the Amex.

Garry Monk's men currently sit in a lofty fourth spot in the Championship standings, but face a tough test with a trip to the division's second placed side and to a ground they have a poor record at in recent seasons.

Clotet though is counting on Leeds fans travelling south in numbers and he insists that the Yorkshire giants are fully prepared to fight in what he believes will be a tough match.

The Spaniard posted a photograph of equipment and shirts being packed for the trip south.

And he wrote: "Destination Brighton. Tough game in store, but we're up for it and we won't be alone tomorrow night."

Leeds head into the fixture on the back of a morale-boosting weekend win over Aston Villa at Elland Road, which further signalled the side's promotion ambitions in the current campaign.

The Whites lost 4-0 on their last visit to Brighton last season, while they have lost on their last three trips to face the Seagulls, with their last win on the south coast coming in 2009.
