Liverpool striker Divock Origi says he is happy to have the chance to learn from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry when he is on international duty with Belgium.

Henry was added to the Red Devils' coaching staff in the summer this year when former Everton boss Roberto Martinez was appointed the new Belgium coach.

As a result Origi has been able to benefit from Henry's coaching and striking advice, something he is delighted about.

The former Lille hitman said on LFC TV: "[Henry is a] very big personality; you can see why he's a legend and a big name in the football world.

"He has a very high level of intelligence of football and especially for strikers", Origi continued.

"He tries to help me a lot; trying to optimise my qualities and use them in an efficient way.

"So these are all positive things and I'm very happy he's with the national team", the striker added.

Henry is Arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer after notching 228 goals in all competitions for the Gunners during his highly successful spell at the club.

The 39-year-old hung up his boots when he left MLS side New York Red Bulls in 2014.

And Henry's advice may already be starting to pay off for Origi, who himself has scored three times in three games for Liverpool recently as he stakes his claim to play regularly for Jurgen Klopp's men.
