Ajax coach Peter Bosz has revealed that Bertrand Traore is not currently in Amsterdam, but is instead back at his parent club Chelsea.

Traore has been injured and as such, Bosz explained, Chelsea wanted to check his fitness. Indeed, the Ajax boss revealed that if a Chelsea loanee is injured for more than two or three days, the Premier League club insist they return to London to be assessed.




Bosz told his club's official site, when asked about Traore being back in England: "That's protocol.

"Chelsea have an requirement with loaning clubs that if a player is injured for more than two or three days, they see him.
 


"We hope that he can come back today or tomorrow", the Ajax boss added.

Traore has made a total of 19 appearances in all competitions for Ajax in the current campaign, scoring five goals and providing his team-mates with a further four assists.

The 21-year-old will be bidding to clock up as much first team football at the Amsterdam ArenA as possible before returning to Chelsea next summer to stake a first team squad spot claim.

He has missed Ajax's last two games with a leg injury.
