Saint-Etienne star Romain Hamouma is crossing his fingers for a meeting with Manchester United in the Europa League, even though it would mean a tough tie for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Jose Mourinho's men have sealed qualification for the last 32 of the Europa League and are waiting to discover their opponents.

Saint-Etienne finished top of their Europa League group, picking up 12 points from their six group games to see off Anderlecht, Mainz and Gabala.

And winger Hamouma is hoping his side will have an opportunity to take on Manchester United, with playing at Old Trafford being a draw for the 29-year-old, while he also thinks hosting the Red Devils would be a big occasion.

"Playing Manchester United would be amazing", Hamouma was quoted as saying by Le 10 Sport.
