Christian Pulisic is not leaving Borussia Dortmund, it has been claimed, in a blow to Liverpool.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of the young United States international and made an attempt to take him to Anfield in the summer transfer window.

Dortmund refused to play ball, something which led to talk of Klopp returning for Pulisic in the winter transfer window, which swings open in less than a month's time.

And Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with wanting to snap up the winger.

But according to German daily Bild, Pulisic will not be sold by the Ruhr giants and is staying put at Dortmund.

The news will be a blow for clubs hoping to sign the young winger.

Just 18 years old, Pulisic was snapped up by Dortmund in 2015, during the twilight of Klopp's time in charge of the club.

He is a senior international with the United States and has eleven caps for his country.
