Atletico Madrid are interested in snapping up goalkeeper Eduardo from Chelsea on loan.

The Portuguese shot-stopper joined the Premier League leaders in the summer transfer window, however he has not made a dent on the first team, with Thibaut Courtois established between the sticks and Asmir Begovic his deputy.

Eduardo has turned out just once for Chelsea, in the Premier League 2, and may be attracted towards heading elsewhere in search of first team football.

Atletico Madrid recently lost goalkeeper Jan Oblak to injury, with a shoulder blow meaning he is set to be out of action for several months.

According to Spanish outlet Todo Mercato Web, Los Rojiblancos are looking towards Eduardo to fill his boots.
