Incoming Lille CEO Marc Ingla has ruled out making a move to sign out-of-favour duo Mamadou Sakho and Memphis Depay.

Sakho has fallen firmly out of the first team picture under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool and has been tipped to end his Anfield nightmare when the transfer window swings back open in a matter of weeks.

Depay meanwhile is struggling to make an impression on Jose Mourinho at Manchester United and the Dutchman has also been linked with a switch in January.

But Ingla, who will take over as Lille CEO in January when Gerard Lopez's control of the club is finalised, does not anticipate either player ending up at the club.

Asked about Sakho and Depay, Ingla told French radio station RMC: "I prefer not to be specific!

"But I do not think they will come to Lille, if you want an answer.

"You have to ask today's technical manager, also Luis Campos, but according to my information, no", he added.

Sakho has been linked with Leicester City and West Ham United, though knocked back proposals to leave Anfield in the summer.

Depay meanwhile has attracted attention from Everton, Roma, Juventus and Wolfsburg.
