Fixture: Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 16:00 (UK time)

Arsenal have named their side and substitutes for the club's first fixture of 2017, a Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

Arsene Wenger's men will be looking to respond to their rivals after Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all recorded wins this weekend, while the Gunners can also take advantage of Manchester City slipping up at Anfield.

The Arsenal boss, looking to get the job done against Sam Allardyce's strugglers, picks Olivier Giroud up top, with Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez all tucked in behind. Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka team up in midfield, with the central defensive pairing being Gabriel Paulista and Laurent Koscielny.

On the bench, Wenger can call for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey if needed, while Shkodran Mustafi is a defensive option for the Arsenal boss.
