Liverpool have confirmed their starting eleven and substitutes to play struggling Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in a Premier League game.
The Reds beat Manchester City on home turf on Saturday to stay just six points behind league leaders Chelsea and can cut the distance to the Blues to just three points by beating the Black Cats today.
To pile more misery on Sunderland, who were thrashed by Burnley on Saturday, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp picks Daniel Sturridge in the starting eleven, with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana all also looking to pose an attacking threat. Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can line up in midfield, with Ragnar Klavan and Dejan Lovren forming the central defensive pairing.
From the bench, Klopp can bring on Divock Origi if he needs to turn to another striker, while Lucas Leiva is an experienced option for the German.
