Rangers have allowed young forward Ryan Hardie to join Scottish Championship outfit Raith Rovers on a development loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old striker is a product of the Gers' youth academy, having joined the Light Blues as a youngster back in 2010.

He enjoyed four successful years with Rangers' development squad before being involved with the senior side in 2014.

Hardie however has struggled to make an impact and Rangers have sent him out on loan spells to further his development, with his most recent being at St Mirren.

The current spell will in fact be his second at Raith Rovers, with the first one being during the latter half of last season, when he scored six goals in 12 appearances and set up two more for his team-mates.
