Manchester City summer signing Leroy Sane has stressed every player at the Etihad Stadium wants the club to get bigger and wants to win every competition.

Since his arrival from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 this summer, Sane has struggled to regularly start games, but has shown glimpses of his abilities.

The winger has missed his side's last three Premier League games due to a muscle injury and will be aiming to make himself available for selection as early as possible.

After losing 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on New Year’s Eve, the Citizens bounced back strongly and defeated Burnley 2-1 on Monday, despite being reduced to ten men in the first half.

Sane, who scored for his side during their game against Arsenal last month, said every player in the camp wants to win for the club.

“All the people who work here for the club want the club to get bigger and bigger and bigger”, Sane told the club’s official website.

“That’s a very good thing.

“All the people help the players”, added the 20-year-old.

Sane said every player wants to contribute to the club and explained: “Also, the players that have come here also want to win for the club – the Premier League, the Champions League – and I think that’s great.”

The Germany international has made 13 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions and has one goal and two assists to his name.
