Celtic star Moussa Dembele has insisted he wants to get better every day in order to win trophies with the club.

The Bhoys have been brilliant this season under new manager Brendan Rodgers and have not lost a single game in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic have drawn just one of the 20 Scottish Premiership games and have won all their other matches in the league so far in the current campaign.

The Frenchman has been phenomenal for his side and has scored 19 goals in addition to providing five assists for his team-mates this season in 36 appearances in all competitions.

Dembele, who was on target for the Hoops during their 2-1 victory over Rangers on New Year’s Eve, said he has not stopped training despite the winter break, in order to get better than before.

“I went home to keep training as the season isn’t finishing and I will come back even fitter than before I left – training is what I love to do”, Dembele told Celtic View.

“It’s been a great year, though it could have been better, and hopefully I can take it into this year.

“My aims haven’t changed since the first day I came in here – they are to win trophies and keep improving”, added the forward.

“I am young and I keep improving every day so I can just be better and better.”

He has scored twice in his side’s last three Scottish Premiership games and will be looking to be on target when Celtic take on Scottish League One outfit Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup fourth round on 22 January.
