Leeds United midfielder Matt Grimes has blasted Yaya Toure's critics and insists the Manchester City man is top class.
Toure has been in action this evening for Manchester City in an FA Cup tie against West Ham United at the London Stadium, having forced his way back into Pep Guardiola's plans.
The veteran midfielder wasted little time in bossing the game from midfield, dictating Manchester City's play as they set about taking West Ham apart.
He also scored the Citizens' first goal, striking from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute as the visitors eased to a 4-0 lead by the 70th minute in the capital.
And Grimes was taking in Toure's performance – and loving the display from the Ivorian.
The Leeds man took to Twitter to make clear his views, writing: "Yaya is an absolute baller.
"If you think otherwise you're wrong", Grimes added.
Toure has featured in Manchester City's last nine Premier League games, establishing himself as a key man under Guardiola.
His contract with the Citizens expires at the end of the season.
