Georges-Kevin N'Koudou is delighted with the impact he had off the bench for Tottenham Hotspur in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

With a stubborn Villa keeping the score at 0-0, K'Koudou was brought off the bench by Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino to impact the game.

And he made his presence felt at once as he crossed the ball for Spurs defender Ben Davies to head the home side in front in the 71st minute.

Nine minutes later Heung-Min Son struck to seal the deal for Spurs and secure a fourth round spot.

The French winger, who arrived at White Hart Lane in the summer transfer window from Marseille, has mainly featured from the bench this season, but pressed his case with his instant impact.

"Happy with the assist and the win.

"Good for the confidence!!! 1000x thanks for your messages and support."

Spurs are next in action at home against West Brom at the weekend, a game N'Koudou will hope to be involved in.

The White Hart Lane outfit then face a crunch trip to Manchester City, before rounding off January by visiting struggling Sunderland.
