Chelsea star Pedro Rodriguez has insisted his side will eye a win against Leicester City on Saturday, following a 4-1 victory over Peterborough United in the FA Cup.

The Blues sealed a comfortable win over Grant McCann’s men on Sunday in the third round of the FA Cup, to book their place in the fourth round.

Antonio Conte’s men looked at ease for the majority of the match and put they the game to bed by half time, going into the break with a two-goal lead.

Chelsea struck twice in the second half, however the Posh denied shot-stopper Asmir Begovic a clean sheet, while skipper John Terry was sent off in the 67th minute.

Pedro, who managed to score a goal in either half of the game, said that his side will now look to beat the Foxes when they visit the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

He also says losing to Spurs on Wednesday did not affect the Blues.

“Against Spurs it was a different game”, Pedro told the club website.

“We lost, but no problem, we just continue taking it game by game.”

“Next we face Leicester, a very difficult team, but we will prepare all week and go for the win”, added the 29-year-old.

The forward has made 21 appearances for the Blues this season and has six goals and seven assists to his name in all competitions.

He will be looking to be on target again when his side take on Claudio Ranieri’s men in their next game.
