AC Milan are still waiting for Everton’s response to their loan plus purchase bid for Gerard Deulofeu and are still working hard to reach a solution soon.

The former Barcelona man has struggled for minutes recently under Ronald Koeman at Everton and has not played a single minute of Premier League football since mid-December.

AC Milan are keen to take him to the San Siro in January and have already proposed an initial loan deal to Everton, with an option to make the move permanent.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are still waiting for Everton’s response to their bid and are yet to receive any official statement from the Toffees.

It has been suggested that Everton are trying to stall the negotiations, but AC Milan are not losing hope of signing the Spaniard and have continued to probe the Merseyside club.
