Manchester United star Anthony Martial has insisted he does not care whether it is a Premier League match or a cup tie, his approach remains the same.

Martial was again on target during his side’s 4-0 victory over Reading in their FA Cup tie at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Frenchman has been brilliant in domestic cup competitions since joining the club and also scored a late winner during his side’s 2-1 victory over Everton in last season’s FA Cup semi-final.

However, the Frenchman said his approach for every competition remains the same and he tries to do his best to help the team win.

"But you know I approach and play every match in the same way, whether it’s a cup or a Premier League game”, Martial told the United Review.

“For me, they are one and the same thing.

“I try to give 100 per cent, and be in the best form I possibly can”, added the 21-year-old.

"I’m still very young and I’ve still got lots to achieve in my career.

Martial said he dreams of winning trophies and works hard to achieve his goals and explained: “What I would like to be able to do is win lots of silverware.

“It’s all about me working hard and doing everything I can to attain my objectives."

Martial has scored six goals this season in 19 appearances in all competitions and out of the total, three have come in domestic cup games.

The Red Devils will take on Hull City this evening in the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final and the forward will be aiming to add more goals to his tally by scoring for his side, if selected.
